Sharon Toffey Shepela, Ph.D. an award-winning professor of social psychology at the University of Hartford, is an activist and Co-regional coordinator of Call To Action/New England. She teaches about the psychology of courageous behavior, and her students solve social justice problems as part of her courses. Sharon is co-authoring a book on courageous resistors to human rights abuses. She integrates psychology and spiritual insights with humor and hope into dynamic workshops, retreats, and lectures on how to raise moral children, find the courage to work for justice, and stay joyful in the midst of the struggle.
